ISP Caterham is currently seeking a qualified Social Worker who is enthusiastic, committed and who has an appreciation of foster carers’ skills and role. We ask our Social Workers to take a collaborative approach with Foster Carers in order to promote meaningful and relevant supervision of the placement. Experience of working with foster carers as professional colleagues and working in a multi-discipline arena is essential.

This is a demanding position which includes both a quality assurance role to maintain high standards and a training role to prospective and current carers. You will be an excellent report writer and able to work to strict deadlines.

ISP Sittingbourne is currently seeking a qualified Social Worker to work within an integrated team, towards promoting excellence of foster care practice throughout the organisation. This is an exciting and varied Social Work role, responsibilities included in this role are; undertaking of comprehensive Form F Assessments, Annual Home Reviews, Initial Visits and delivering thorough quality assurance of broader commissioned assessment work. You will also be involved in the delivery of skills to foster training courses for prospective carers and there will be opportunities to work out of area on occasions doing recruitment activities.

ISP is an Independent Fostering Organisation, operating predominantly across the South East. ISP takes a therapeutic approach to working with children and is committed to promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in placement.

We are currently looking to recruit a Full Time Administrator to work core hours over Monday to Friday, to provide an administrative support service to the Caterham Centre multi-disciplinary team.

The role will involve maintaining databases and electronic filing systems, managing fostering paperwork and forms as well as general administration. Good front of house skills are essential including meeting and greeting, telephone handling, and setting up and minute taking in meetings.

The successful candidate must have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C (or equivalent), and good IT knowledge (which will be tested at interview). Previous administration and customer services experience is essential.

The Fostering Advisors in our teams are key to all of the support required by our Carers and this critical role will be accountable for regularly visiting carers, offering advice and information regarding all of the services and support available to them at ISP Including matching considerations, respite, training, supervised contact, and transportation. The Fostering Advisors also support our children and young people with their leisure activities and other needs they may have.

The successful candidate will understand applicable regulations and standards e.g. Children’s Act & Fostering Service National Minimum Standards, have a good understanding and experience of fostering, be a great team player and relish working with children, young people, and Foster Carers.

ISP are currently looking for a Panel member who is a qualified Social Worker and registered with HCPC, for our Doncaster panel. Panels occur every 3 to 6 weeks on a Wednesday. Attendance is paid at a rate of £200 a panel and includes reading, expenses incurred are paid separately.
