ISP is an independent fostering agency that provides high-quality childcare, education and therapy for young people in need. Over the years, ISP has expanded, and we now have centres in Kent, Buckinghamshire, Sussex and London. As well as working with around 300 young people and their foster carers, we also run an ISP school in Sittingbourne. Our holistic approach ensures that the whole team, including our carers, social workers, therapists and teachers, works together to support our young people, and the foster families in which they live.

What’s different about ISP?
We place great emphasis on recruiting, training and developing outstanding carers, so that young people can experience the best that fostering can provide. We help create the right environment by providing a wrap-around service that offers wide-ranging practical and professional support for both young people and foster families.
Our extended services<link to extended services page> include a house for supervised contact with birth families, a leaving care programme, transport services, parent and child placements, an out-of-hours helpline, and extensive training in dealing with young people’s behavioural problems.
We take a holistic approach to the young people we care for. Those young people, and their carers all have access to our multi-disciplinary group of therapeutic professionals. They have clinical experience in a wide range of therapies, including:
- Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
- Systemic Family Therapy
- Cognitive/Behavioural Therapy
- Play Therapy
- Art Therapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
