Of course, you’ll also need to be committed to providing the best care to a child, and have lots of patience, empathy and resilience too.

Fostering Parent & Child East Sussex

Fostering a parent and child in East Sussex

Parent and child fostering is a specialist type of foster care, where you welcome a parent who needs a little extra guidance into your home along with their baby, toddler or child.

Your role is to provide them both with a safe and secure home, while you help the parent develop the skills they need to care for their child when they’re no longer with you.

It’s incredibly rewarding as you help keep families together after foster care.
