“To me, it has always been a family” – Farewell, Peter

17 October, 2019 Peter Philips

Peter Phillips joined ISP over 30 years ago as a Therapist and has worked with many families across our Kent fostering centres. Today, we sadly say farewell to Peter and wish him the very best of luck on his next adventure.

Since joining ISP, Peter has supported many young people through therapy, as well as co-coordinating Foster Carer Forums and Support Groups focusing on nurturing, understanding, healing and growing.

Reflecting on his time at ISP, Peter commented: “At ISP’s heart are the children and many wonderful people who work closely together to help them. ISP embodies the ethos of joined up working and nobody’s more important than another.”

“To me, it has always been a family. We make time for each other and give time to the really important things. ISP’s philosophy of taking care of people is infused not only in it’s friendliness, in the way people relate to each other, but also seems to be a part of the very fabric of the buildings themselves.”

We would like to thank Peter for his utter dedication to supporting the children in our care and wish him the very best for the future.

Thank you Peter!
